Re : What is the recommended procedure to update outdated/vulnerable Desktop Central components?

Hi V_S 

We didn't integrate the fix for POODLE in our general hotfix yet hence we provide the fix via product system files which should be replaced.

These files are prepared based on the current build which the customer is running on. Hence publishing the files in forum might mislead to other customer and it isn't possible to prepare the file for all the builds hence we send to customers who contact support with regards to this. 

Hence please contact support to upgrade the Apache Open SSL version from 1.0.1i to  1.0.1j which also handles the POODLE vulnerability.
