Desktop Central scan the machines in the following event:
- Any Hardware and Software changes is detected
- Scheduled inventory scan
From your post, I can understand that you wish to scan the client machines as soon as it connected to your Network.
The solution for this requirement is to perform the scheduled inventory scan. Even if, client machines missing the scheduled scan due to not online or away from Network then client machines will be scanned by Desktop Central Agent as soon as machines connected back to Network.
