How do I deploy MS Office templates to users with Desktop Central

We have several customized templates for MS Office, especially normal.dotx and normal.dotm for MS Word. Is there a way to deploy these to our users' default templates folder with Desktop Central. I've tried using the file copy configuration tool but can't seem to get it to work.

Has someone documented this already?
