Yes you can also manage the machines which are windows 7 in home group through Desktop Central Server when you install the agent on the machine.

Desktop Central is the agent based solution, without agent installed it is not possible to manage the machine.

Please let me know how many computers you are going to manage it.

Note: Desktop Central is not recommended for home users.
