Re : Update to 92099 Desktop Central fails and backs out.

Appreciate your forum post on reporting the issue.

For the upgrade failure issue and to find the root cause of the problem we would require complete server logs for the Desktop Central to analyze on the issue.

Please contact support stating the same issue and uploading the server logs referring the below link to assist you in fixing the issue.
