Hi Sherri Wilson,

Thank you for your post in our forums.

Desktop Central Distribution Server ----> Desktop Central Server

Always Distribution server communicates the Desktop Central main server hence it is inboud to Desktop central server. You will need to open the below ports for the DS to reach the main server.

8020 (normal)
8383 (secure).

Clients ---------> Desktop Central Distribution Server

8021 (normal)
8384 (Secure)

Clients ----> Desktop Central Server (are any ports required?)

Yes, you need to open 8020(normal)/8383(secure).

Desktop Central Server ----> Clients (are any ports required?)

No. It is always the agents which talk to the server hence if you open the ports 8020/8383 inbound to the server, the agents can reach the server.

Kindly refer the 14th FAQ from the below link.

Regards,
